Trevor Tierney’s mission is to support leaders to build strong character and culture within their teams or organizations, which leads to success, well-being, fulfillment, and community-mindedness for all their people. Trevor is a teacher of leadership, character, and cultural development in a national partnership with the Institute of Excellence and Ethics which supports optimal performance through excellence with integrity. He is a student of developmental psychology with a BA in Psychology from Princeton University '01 and an ALM in Psychology from Harvard Extension School ‘18, and a former professional athlete who is an advocate for USADA’s TrueSport organization. Trevor is certified in the Leadership Circle Profile for leadership development and Subject-Object Interview for developmental maturity. He has attended Growth Edge Leadership and Regenesis Regenerative Practitioner Series workshops and has consulted for a number of elite-level sports teams and high-powered corporations. TEAM CULTURAL ASSESSMENT

Understanding the culture of your team is the essential first step towards getting the competitive edge. The Sport Team Culture survey gathers parallel data from athletes and coaching staff. It seeks insights into the team culture among athletes and about the coaching practices that shape how athletes treat each other and how they prepare to compete. The Workplace Culture Assessment survey gathers parallel data from employees and staff in leadership positions. It seeks insights into a) employee culture and competencies that drive their performance, and about b) leadership practices that shape the organization’s culture and support employees’ essential skills that are critical to success.


LEADERSHIP CIRCLE PROFILE

The Leadership Circle Profile is the only instrument that measures the two primary leadership domains – Creative Competencies and Reactive Tendencies – and integrates this information so that key opportunities for leadership development immediately rise to the surface. Administered and debriefed by a Certified Practitioner who specializes in your industry and organizational needs, the Leadership Circle Profile assessment and debrief process is specifically tailored to every individual’s development.

Optimal Performance™ Assessment instruments are for mentoring and coaching between leaders and their people. The first essential step in performance leadership is gathering insights into the current state of your organization. Our assessment strategies are informed by theory and by 20 years of applied research in human and organizational development. Our tools have been tested in multiple iterations and locations and proven to be psychometrically strong, constructive in focus, and efficient in implementation.

We support leaders in building the type of strong culture that they want to see in their teams and organizations. By looking at the strengths and weaknesses of the culture, we help leaders to make the changes needed to bring their teams together. While individual work can be important and helpful at times, the most powerful driver of peoples’ habits and competencies is the culture that they are a part of. Unpack your mission and vision, communicate with clarity, and overcome resistance to change. We will assist with gathering the data you will need to drive your strategic planning and to shape and sustain a culture of continuous improvement. We will design customized solutions (strategies, tools, workshops, etc.) to target your organization’s objectives and will use our CHAMP (Communication, Habit, Accountability, Mindset, and Performance) framework to help you tap into the full potential of your people and your mission. Teaching modules and lesson plans include topics such as communication, integrity, resilience, goal achievement, mission and vision, etc.
